BVRIT received the following awards at IBM TGMC 2012 Felicitation ceremony at  Bengaluru on 8th November, 2013

Details:

    Top Girls Team award – For the highest marks in the total competitions among all girls teams.
    2 Top 15 Teams awards – For the best performances across the competition among more than 1500 Teams participating in TGMC across India.
    One of the Top 30 Engineering Colleges in India awards – For the outstanding performance in students’ technical development, based on IBM parameters.
    2 Drona awards – For the project guides for the best performing teams.

BVRIT Students receive TCS Best Student

Crowning Glory - BVRIT Students receive TCS Best Student and Best Student Project Awards tcsglory

Ms. Srivani Mellacheruvu from Padmasri Dr BV Raju Institute of Technology, Narsapur received Best Student Award from Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Hyderabad as part of its initiative to recognize and promote academic excellence.  The award comprises a gold medal, a certificate and a cash prize of Rs.10,000.

TCS award for the Best Student Project was given away to Mr. AnirudhMalleshwar Napa, Mr. TejasYegi, Mr. Vamsi Krishna Sajja and Mr. V. AnveshVarma for their project entitled HHO Blending on SI Engine and Evaluation of Performance Characteristics. The project was done by students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, PadmasriDr BV Raju Institute of Technology, Narsapur.The award comprises a gold medal, a certificate and a cash price of Rs.20,000.

Mr. V Rajanna, Vice President & Regional Head of TCS Hyderabad personally presented this award to Ms. Srivani Mellacheruvu, Mr. Anirudh Malleshwar Napa, Mr. Tejas Yegi, Mr. Vamsi Krishna Sajja and Mr. V. Anvesh Varma during the awards ceremony held in TCS Synergy Park Campus. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Rajanna informed that TCS-100 Bestand TCS Best Student Project Award are two of the many initiatives from TCS to encourage students to focus on academics through healthy competition. TCS-100 BestAward is presented to a best studentfrom 100 high-ranking engineering institutes across India. TCS Best Project Award is presented to one project from each of the colleges with which TCS has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Thisaward aims to promote creativity and socially useful projects.
