Vishnu public school made a humble beginning in 2003 with a small band of 180 students on its roll and 14 teaching Staff. The able functioning of the school, its infrastructure, progressive reputation of Sri Vishnu Education Society and proven guidance of the principal, has directed the school to grow in leaps and bounds. Through the years, the school has achieved functioning from L.K.G to X standard with a reputation of being the best in the District. The school student strength stand high at 400 with 22 efficient and experience teaching staff and 4 non teaching staff.

Vishnu public school is popular for focusing on emerging disciplines with practical exposure that is a prerequisite of blooming carrier. Guided by competent and experienced faculty, and supported by useful infrastructure, the school is on a growth path to impart quality education to the future leaders of our country.

FACULTY
The school has highly qualified and experienced teaching staff. They apply the latest teaching – learning methodologies and strive for all round development of the students. The management is also committed to providing continuous orientation and training programs to the teachers to upgrade their skills and teaching methodologies. The teachers are trained to handle word- processor, spread sheets and to develop multimedia presentation using resources though the internet. Aided by the internet module, they also prepare question banks for the students.

PRINCIPAL
Mr. S. Ramamurthy has a vast experience in the filed of education for over three decades, he has served in various capacities and finally as a principal and has now applied many of his ideas for the development of the school. His novel and innovative ideas are being executed to mark Vishnu public school as ‘The best’ in the Medak region of Andhra Pradesh.

SCHOOL FACILITER
Spacious class rooms: A congenial atmosphere is created with spacious and well furnished class rooms, good moving space, facilities for storage of books of the students.

Audio-visual centre: the school is equipped with latest Cassette/CD players television sets, over head projector, video cassette player and LCD projector. The school library has acquired several subjects and English language prepared by CIEFL for effectiveteaching experience. The school airs programs from National Geographic and Discovery channels for the benefit of our knowledge thirsty minds.

Transportation: the school provided conveyance to all the students virtually covering the entire Narsapur surroundings.

Co Curricular and Extra Curricuar Activities: Students are encouraged appropriately in identifying and exploring their aptitude in various co curricular and extra curricular activities, they are given opportunity to participate in creative writing, quiz and social and cultural activities.

To help the students to explore various dimensions to education and identification of their individual aptitudes, students are given appropriation encouragement for their comprehensive development. The houses system has been introduced and all the activities are organized house-wise in the school. Based on their individual interest, the students are exposed to arts like dancing, music drawing, painting and participation in science fairs.

The students are allotted certain hour to spend on sports activities and are trained in various games thereby contributing to inculcate a competitive spirit and for Physical fitness. Adequate facilities are available to practice Foot Ball, Volley Ball, and Throw Ball, Cricket, Hockey, Basket Ball, Kabadi, Kho and indoor games. Students are also allowed to participate in excursions and expeditions.
