BVRIT proudly congratulates Mr. Kumar Prasad Telikapalli (EEE 2001 Pass Out), a distinguished alumnus from the first batch (1997-2001), on being invited by the Ministry and IPO as a special guest to the Republic Day Parade on January 26th. This honor recognizes his remarkable contributions as a prolific innovator and co-founder of a company driving transformative change in India.
Under his leadership, the company has received the prestigious CII Award for Innovation and Patents, recognizing their exceptional patent portfolio and groundbreaking work in e-mobility and the digital ecosystem. The award, evaluated across 32 metrics beyond the number of grants, highlights their innovative vision and significant impact on the industry.

R S S Deepika Rani (ECE 2013-17) Wins John Deere Global Key Contributor Award 2024.
R S S Deepika Rani (ECE 2013-17) has been honored with the prestigious John Deere Global Key Contributor Award 2024, standing out among 600 Senior Embedded Systems Engineers worldwide. She currently serves as a Sr. Embedded Systems Engineer (Level IV) at John Deere, Pune. Deepika is a dedicated sports enthusiast, with a passion for badminton and marathons. Family holds a special place in her heart, and it’s her unwavering grit, determination, and incredible work ethic that drives her forward in everything she does.

BVRIT Alumnus Pavan Kumar Honored for Excellence in Education Counseling
BV Raju Institute of Technology (BVRIT) takes immense pride in celebrating the remarkable achievement of its alumnus, Pavan Kumar (Chemical Engineering, 2007-2011), who, along with co-founder Shivaram Mantri, has been honored with the prestigious “Excellence in Education Counselling” award at the ET Now Business Conclave & Awards 2025.
In 2016, Pavan and Shivaram embarked on their journey with CAP Educational Services, starting with just a vision and counseling students in coffee shops. Their goal was clear—to guide students toward the right career path. However, the road was not easy. The COVID-19 pandemic posed one of their biggest challenges, bringing zero income, halted college admissions, and an uncertain future. Yet, their perseverance, passion, and commitment to student success kept them moving forward.

Srinidhi Deshpande: Pioneering Advances in Cell Therapy
BVRIT takes immense pride in featuring Srinidhi Deshpande, a distinguished alumnus and scientist in cell therapy, for his contributions to biomedical research. He recently led a workshop on Clinical Manufacturing of CAR-T cells alongside Pankaj Salvi at SACT 2025, utilizing the Cytiva platform. Held at ACTREC, Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai, the workshop was a key part of the Asia-Pacific Cell Therapy Conference & Hands-on Workshop Summit. With participation from top industry partners, the event focused on accelerating next-generation cell therapies in India. Srinidhi’s achievements continue to inspire BVRIT students and alumni to push the boundaries of scientific innovation.
