The PIVOT, the 24 hr event, centered on the theme “Change is Constant,” began at 9:00 AM on 17.10.2024 with participants organized into teams of second- and third-year students. A.L. Kishore, Faculty Lead (of E-CELL) delivered a short talk on “Surviving in a VUCA World,” while convenor Dr. Chandra Babu introduced the PIVOT program. Dr. M.K. Kaushik then provided an insightful overview of the event’s purpose. Throughout the day, Dr Kaushik made the students actively engaged in design thinking activities like STEP Trends and AEIOU, applying these concepts to real-world problem-solving. The highlight was the elevator pitch session, where teams presented innovative solutions to critical challenges. This hands-on experience not only sharpened their problem-solving skills but also enhanced their ability to think creatively in a collaborative environment.
