1. Civil Engineering Software Laboratory                             

                         The Civil Engineering Software Laboratory is established to enhance the academic, research, and professional competencies of students and faculty across various domains of civil engineering. The lab is equipped with industry-standard software tools, including Autodesk’s educational suite (AutoCAD and Revit) and Bentley Systems academic perpetual offerings (STAAD.Pro, OpenRoads Designer, WaterGEMS, and SewerGEMS), enabling advanced capabilities in design, analysis, and Building Information Modeling (BIM). Additionally, the lab supports the use of open-source and industry-relevant platforms such as QGIS and Oracle Primavera P6, promoting accessible and flexible learning opportunities.

2. Surveying and Geomatics Laboratory 

                    The Surveying & Geomatics Laboratory at BVRIT Narsapur is equipped with modern instruments such as DGPS, Total Station, Auto Level, and Theodolite to provide hands-on training in field measurements, mapping, and spatial analysis. The lab is designed to develop practical skills in topographic surveying, data collection, and error correction, while also introducing students to GIS integration and modern geospatial technologies. In accordance with R22 regulations, it supports core B.Tech Civil Engineering laboratory courses, enabling students to apply surveying concepts effectively in real-world engineering applications.

3. Concrete Technology Laboratory

                              The Concrete Technology and Highway Materials Laboratory at BVRIT Narsapur is equipped with modern testing facilities such as the Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (UPV) apparatus, Digital Rebound Hammer, and pavement testing equipment to assess concrete quality, strength, and pavement performance. The lab provides hands-on training in concrete mix design, non-destructive testing, and material characterization, enabling students to understand durability, quality control, and pavement behavior. In line with R22 regulations, it supports core Civil Engineering laboratory courses, ensuring strong practical exposure in concrete technology and highway materials engineering.

4. Geotechnical Engineering Laboratory

                The Geotechnical Engineering Laboratory at BVRIT Narsapur is designed to provide practical training in soil mechanics and foundation engineering. Equipped with facilities such as Plate Load Test, UCC testing machine, and CBR setup, the lab enables students to evaluate soil strength, bearing capacity, and subgrade behavior. Organized into basic soil testing and foundation evaluation sections, it offers hands-on experience in soil classification, compaction, and geotechnical analysis, helping students apply theoretical concepts to real-world civil engineering problems in accordance with R22 curriculum requirements.

5. Environmental Engineering Laboratory

              The Environmental Engineering Laboratory at BVRIT Narsapur is equipped with essential instruments such as Water Quality Analyzers, Conductivity Meters, and titration setups for assessing physico-chemical parameters of water and wastewater. The lab provides hands-on training in water quality analysis, pollution assessment, and treatment processes, enabling students to apply environmental engineering principles in real-world monitoring and sustainability studies. In accordance with R22 regulations, it supports core Civil Engineering laboratory courses with strong emphasis on environmental protection and sustainable engineering practices.

6. Strength of Materials Laboratory

                The Strength of Materials Laboratory at BVRIT Narsapur is equipped with advanced testing facilities such as Universal Testing Machine (UTM), Impact Testing Machine, Torsion Testing Machine, and Hardness Testing Machine to evaluate key mechanical properties of materials. The lab provides hands-on training in tension, compression, shear, torsion, and hardness tests, enabling students to understand stress–strain behavior, material strength, and failure mechanisms. In accordance with R22 regulations, it supports core Civil Engineering laboratory courses with strong emphasis on structural behavior and material performance analysis. 7. Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulic Machinery Laboratory


                      The Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulic Machinery Laboratory at BVRIT Narsapur is equipped with advanced facilities such as Jet Impact apparatus, Pelton, Kaplan, and Francis turbines, along with open channel flow setups to study fluid behavior and hydraulic performance. The lab provides hands-on training in flow measurement, energy conversion, and turbine efficiency, enabling students to understand real-time hydraulic systems. In accordance with R22 regulations, it supports core Civil Engineering laboratory courses with strong emphasis on fluid mechanics principles and hydraulic applications.
