Introduction
B V Raju Institute of Technology Central Library which is the heart of the Institute was established in the year 1997. The Library provides important academic services to the institute and gives the benefit of access to the modern collection of knowledge resources and innovative information support services for the students and faculty members. The library is fully automated on Software for University Libraries (SOUL)–Integrated Library Management Software. All the users can search for information on books, authors, and publishers through Web OPAC.
Library Infrastructure: The central library provides excellent academic information to the students and faculty members of the institute. It has an excellent well equipped high bandwidth computer network enabled with WiFi accessing in the library and E-Resources the round of clock from anywhere.
Vision:
The vision of the B V Raju Institute of Technology Central Library is to become one of the pioneers of Science & Engineering Libraries in Telangana State in the field of information resources, services, and technology applications.
Mission:
The mission of the central library is to provide information resources and excellent services to all its students and faculty members along with an appropriate environment for information access, teaching, learning, and research activities through the applications of ICT. The mission of the Library is to provide information services and access to bibliographic, the full text of both Print and Digital Information to all students, faculty members, and staff.
Library Objectives
The main objective of the academic library selection policy reflects the mission of the institution. A selection policy should include an avenue for collaboration and input from all members of the campus community.
- Integrate ICT in provision and access to library resources and services.
- Facilitate access and Scholarly Communication in the utilization of resources.
- Process and provide access to intellectual output of the Institution.

Library Membership
All students, faculty, and non-teaching members of the institute are entitled to become members of the library and enjoy the privileges of the services offered by it.
The library is also open to visitors from other academic institutions subject to the approval of the competent authority.
Periodical Section
- Subscribing more than 267 National & International Journals & Magazines.
- Providing Access to 12946 + Online Journals.
- Current Journals will be displayed in the Periodical Section.
- Back Volumes of the Journals will be available inside the racks of Pigeon holes of Periodical display racks.
- Library subscribed online e-resources are accessible throughout the campus on IP-based access and some of them on URL based.
Digital Library
BVRIT Digital Library works on LAN connectivity with fiber optic cable through the Computer Center and it is connected to the webserver. 30 systems providing network facilities are installed for accessing/browsing Online e-content of e-journals and e-databases in the library.
Audio-Visual (AV)
The Central Library provides an audio-visual section with one set of 55” Android TV. A good collection of Educational Videos (DTH 32 Swayam Prabha, NPTEL, SONET) are available on varied subjects.
