Initiatives related to industry interaction including industry internship/summer training
Attending guest lectures, internships, and industrial visits significantly enrich the quality of the curriculum by providing students with real-world insights and practical experiences beyond the theoretical knowledge acquired in classrooms. Guest lectures, featuring industry experts, offer a unique perspective on current trends, challenges, and innovations, bridging the gap between academia and industry.
Guest Lectures:
A guest lecture is organized in the title “Role of Science, Engineering and Technology in the Service of Society on 29-02-2020, by Prof. D Varada Raju, Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering Vizag. In this program both the UG and PG students participated and benefited.
Industrial Visits and Internships:
Internships provide students with hands-on experience, allowing them to apply theoretical concepts in a professional setting, fostering skill development and a deeper understanding of their field. Industrial visits offer a firsthand look into the operations of various industries, exposing students to the practical applications of their studies.
The III B.Tech and I M.Tech students visited the MG Automotives and Composites, Zahirabad.
The institute has a team for the MOUs, Placements, Internship and for industry interaction located at different places across India – headed by a director industry relation, supported by a manager industry relation, assistant director for placements, industry liaison officers at Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, and Vadodara.
