Objectives of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Lab:
Recent years have seen a dramatic increase of research in the area of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning. The Applications based on AI are becoming more and more integrated in our daily lives. The science fiction stories about AI are slowly becoming true as more and more companies are researching towards it. So, in order to meet the current and future demands of the industry, mainly in the area of AI and Machine Learning, The ‘Centre of Excellence in AI & ML’ provides students training and project based learning which can helps them in their career be it professional or research.
Our centre is associated with LeadingIndia.ai initiative of Bennett University, Greater Noida.
The activities of the centre will be focused towards the areas of Medical Image Analysis, Object detection, Crowd detection, people behavior, etc. The students will be directed towards internships in companies, Universities and IIT’s.
The proposed curriculum will be taught to students in the semesters 2-2 and 3-1 jointly for both the labs. Semester 3-2 will be utilized for the stream specific training and idealization of the mini/major projects. The student projects will be divided mainly in three categories (based on student interests).
Computer Vision Stream: Object detection, Face detection, Anomaly detection, Video surveillance.
Cognitive Science Stream: BCI.
Health Care Stream: Brain Tumor, cancer prediction – MRI / CAT etc.
