The major attraction of Computer Science and Business System is its collaboration with Tata Consultancy Services multinational company. For generating syllabus lab experiments everywhere regarding academics TCS industrial peoples are involved and added their required skills to recruit people, especially from this department.

Prospects and future of CSBS

CSBS has been one of the most creative and competitive courses to study since its inception in engineering colleges/institutes and universities.

Computer Science and Business System students will learn about basic engineering techniques like basic subjects: C++, Java, computer Networks, Database Management systems, etc… as well as they are learning the same number of business-related subjects like business communication and value sciences, fundamentals of management, statistical methods, fundamentals of economics, financial management, operations research, financial and cost accounting, etc.

  1. Industry-Relevant Curriculum:
    • TCS collaborated with AICTE and academia to design a curriculum that blends Computer Science fundamentals with Business Systems knowledge.
    • The idea is to produce engineers who understand both technology and business—ideal for roles in the digital and IT services economy.
  1. Create Tech-Savvy Business Professionals:
    • Traditional Computer Science (CSE) graduates often lack business acumen.
    • CSBS aims to develop professionals who can analyze business problems and build technology solutions that align with business goals.
  1. Future-Ready Talent Pipeline:
    • With the rapid evolution of technologies like AI, Data Science, Cloud, and IoT, there’s a growing demand for graduates who are not just coders, but tech strategists.
    • CSBS nurtures such talent for TCS and the broader IT industry.
  1. Reduce Training Burden for IT Companies:
    • TCS and other companies often spend significant time and money training freshers.
    • CSBS graduates come with pre-aligned skills, reducing onboarding and training costs.
  1. Promote Innovation and Entrepreneurship:
    • By including business understanding and systems thinking, CSBS encourages students to innovate and even launch startups, not just seek jobs.
