CSE department has Research Center under JNTUH in the domain of Computer vision. Computer vision domain is broken down into several specialized technical tasks:
- Image Classification: Assigning a specific label or category to an entire image.
- Object Detection: Identifying and precisely locating multiple objects within an image by drawing bounding boxes.
- Image Segmentation: Partitioning an image at the pixel level to accurately map the boundaries of distinct objects.
- Facial Recognition & OCR: Identifying human faces, mapping facial landmarks, or extracting text from images via Optical Character Recognition
