The 5-day workshop focused on “ Discrete Element Modeling (DEM)– Industrial Manufacturing Processes”  conducted during 19th September 2023 to 23rd September 2023 in BVRIT-chemical seminar hall it is a powerful computational technique used to simulate the behavior of granular materials in industrial processes. The sessions were conducted by Mr. Prasad Avilala, a technical specialist from Altair. This workshop was a collaborative effort between the departments of pharmaceutical engineering and mechanical engineering. Participants explored how DEM can enhance understanding, optimize designs, and improve efficiency in manufacturing.
